I et energisk møde mellem jazz, hiphop og house inviterer Clothing Club publikum ind på en musikalsk legeplads, hvor nikkende nakker, gyngende beats, bøjede ben og smilende smil er hovedingredienserne i den musikalske servering. Clothing Club er en instrumental trio, der blander hiphop, house og jazz med et glimt i øjet og et ben i Jylland. Med legende beats, funky grooves om alt fra gamle støvede vintage bukser til friske jordbærbeklædte bøllehatte, skaber de et musikalsk frirum fuld af glæde. Deres lyd er antielitær, humoristisk, dansabel og forankret i Aarhus-jazz'en, der bruges som springbræt til at blande genrer fra hele verden. Clothing Club er for konfirmander, pensionister og bassister -- kort sagt: for alle, der vil åbne ørerne, ryste røven, grine højt og gå hjem med et smil. På det stort ventede andet studiealbum Spring Collection undersøger de dybderne af klædeskabet i en søgen efter at klæde lytteren bedre på i den mentale garderobe. Musikken er en hyldest til stråhatten, vintage butikkerne, lommefilosofien, Y2K norsk uld, vilde veste, kastetter (og ingen kasketter), yndlingskjolen, old-school hiphop og 90'er videospil. --------- Forget all about melancholy, discouragement and loneliness. In an energetic meeting between jazz, hip-hop and house, Clothing Club invites the audience onto a musical playground where nodding heads, bouncing beats, bent knees and smiling faces are the main ingredients in the musical feast. Clothing Club is an instrumental trio blending hip-hop, house and jazz with a twinkle in their eye and one foot firmly planted in Jutland. With playful beats and funky grooves about everything from dusty vintage trousers to fresh strawberry-covered bucket hats, they create a musical space full of joy. Their sound is anti-elitist, humorous, danceable and rooted in the Aarhus jazz scene, which they use as a springboard for blending genres from around the world. Clothing Club is for confirmation students, pensioners and bass players -- in short: for anyone who wants to open their ears, shake their ass, laugh out loud and go home with a smile. On their highly anticipated second studio album, Spring Collection, they explore the depths of the wardrobe in an attempt to better dress the listener for their mental wardrobe.
